The beautiful city Mianyang, with about 600.000 inhabitants, is located in the north of Sichuan district at a distance of about 100 km from Chengdu. The city is situated at the river Fu Jiang.

Mianyang has lovely scenery, a long history, and deep cultural roots with many historical relics of The Three Kingdoms. It is the hometown of the famous poet Li Bai.

The city is well connected with Guangyou, Suining, Nanchong, Deyang, Wenchuan, Barkam, Yushu (Qinghai) and is an excellent starting point to visit the mountainious area in the direction of Jiangyou and Pingwu and Songpan.
